Meet the Board

The Special Areas Board consists of three members, Jay Slemp, Chairman of the Special Areas Board, Brent Horner representative from Special Area 2 and Kyle Christianson representative from Special Area 3.

Kyle Christianson
Mr. Christianson was raised in the Sedalia area and currently farms and ranches on a 100 year operation. He has been an Advisory Councilor since 1995 and has been serving on the Board since February 2008. Kyle represents Subdivision 5 in Special Area 3.

Brent Horner
Mr. Horner currently resides and farms/ranches in the Pollockville area. Brent has been an Advisory Councilor since 1995 and a member of the Board since February 2011. He represents Subdivision 4 in Special Area 2.

Meet the Council

Special Area 2, Subdivision 1 is represented by Norman Storch. Norman was elected in October 2010 to the Advisory Council. He farms North of Hanna.

Special Area 2, Subdivision 2 is represented by Stratton Peake. Stratton was re-elected in October 2010 to the Advisory Council. He was also a Council member from October 1998 to October 2001. Stratton ranches in the Finnegan area.

Special Area 2, Subdivision 3 is represented by Clayton Curry. Clayton has been an Advisory Council member since October 1995. He ranches in the Sunnynook area on a 100 Year operation.

Special Area 2, Subdivision 5 is represented by Merle Blair. Merle became an Advisory Councilor in October 2004. He farms/ranches in the Youngstown area.

Special Area 2, Subdivision 7 is represented by Daryl Swenson. Daryl was elected to the Advisory Council in October 2007. He farms South of Bindloss.

Special Area 2, Subdivision 8 is represented by Tom Osadczuk. Tom began as an Advisory Councilor from 1966 until 1970, and then again from 1980 until present. He was a Board Member from 1984 until 1989 and again from 1993 to 1999. Tom ranches in the Jenner area.

Special Area 3, Subdivision 4 is represented by Melvin Bingeman. Melvin was first elected to Advisory Council in June 1974 and served until June 1980. He was re-elected in October 1998 and continues to represent the division. Melvin farms South East of Esther.

Special Area 3, Subdivision 6 is represented by Kevin Wilson. Kevin was elected to Advisory Council in October 2010. Kevin and his family ranch south west of Cereal.

Special Area 4, Subdivision 1 is represented by Lawrence Letniak. Lawrence became an Advisory Council member in October 1998. He farms South of Veteran.

Special Area 4, Subdivision 2 is represented by Bonnie Sansregret. Bonnie was elected to Advisory Council in October 2001. She farms south of Consort on a 100 Year operation.

Special Area 4, Subdivision 3 is represented by Robert Worobo. Robert was elected to Advisory Council in October 1989. He farms/ranches North of Monitor on a 100 Year operation.
