MAINTENANCE SERVICE WORKERS I
WAGE: $21.2243 – 25.1069 per hour
The Special Areas Board invites applications for wage/summer student positions at Prairie Oasis Park, Blood Indian Park and Blood Indian Trading Post.
Parks Wage/Seasonal - under the direction of the Parks Supervisor, key park duties involve general maintenance such as grass mowing, garbage collection, washroom cleaning, tree planting and watering. Other activities include operation and maintenance of equipment, responding to camper enquiries and other related duties. Schedule includes weekdays/rotational weekends (every third weekend).
Blood Indian Trading Post - under the direction of the Parks Supervisor, key Trading Post duties involve store cleanliness, till operation and reconciliation, shelf stocking, ice cream scooping and customer interaction. Schedule includes weekdays/rotational weekend.
QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of grade twelve or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants are required to hold a valid Driver’s License. Special consideration for some positions will be given to mature High School students on the SAB STEP wage scale.
