 Prairie Oasis Park opened for the 2021 season on May 1.

Location: 30 km south east of Hanna on Highway 36

There is no reservation system in effect for the 2021 season for Prairie Oasis Park, except for the two large group campsites (Camp Kitchen Site & Bullpound Loop Large Group Site).

Bookings for these two sites for the 2021 season were only able to be made between April 7 (9 am) and May 12 (4 pm) during normal business hours. No reservations will be accepted outside this booking window. All other sites will be managed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

How to Book Reservations

For the 2021 season, the online reservation system is not available for use.

Only the two large group campsites (Camp Kitchen Site & Bullpound Loop Site) are available for reservation for the 2021 season. Reservations for these two sites were only accepted during normal business hours between April 7, 2021 at 9:00am and May 12, 2021 at 4:00 pm. Deposits are required at time of booking. No reservations will be accepted outside this booking window. 


Camping

Regular Campsites

– No Refunds
– Recreation camping only (14 day maximum)
– Beach/swimming area
– Power/Water sites – $35.00/unit/night (effective July 1, 2020) 
     – Second trailer at site – $30/unit/night
– Tenting Loop only sites – $25.00/unit/night 
– Potable water available at various locations throughout the Park
– Trailer sewage dump station
– Pay phone in the marina area
– Contractor operated Concession (opens May 21 for weekend service)
– Coin operated showers/laundry 
– Playground
– 4 horseshoe pits near large group site
– Firewood for sale 
– Free wifi available through the campground

Small Group Camping Sites

– Small group sites (2 Units) – $35.00/unit/night ($70.00 minimum site fee)

Large Group Camping Sites

Camp Kitchen Group Site (Large Group Camping) 
– Flat rate of $350/night – deposit required
– Can accommodate 10 to 15 units (has 5 double power pedestals)
– Kitchen offers shutters & doors, lights, 1 outlet, and 10 picnic tables
– This area can be used as a day use area unless reserved only.

Bullpound Loop Large Group Site (Large Group Camping)

– can accommodate 15 or more units 
– Flat rate of $420/night – deposit required

Day Use & Boating

– Boat launch and Marina (no fuel available)
– Boat docking facilities
– Swimming area
– Playground

Other

– Interpretive signage
– Hiking trails and bird watching area


Blood Indian Park

Blood Indian Park has opened for fully serviced and unserviced camping for the 2021 season.

Number of campsites: 300 sites
– 29 serviced – $35/unit/night
– Remainder of sites are random camping non-serviced – $20.00/unit/night

Camping Facilities Include

Facilities include:
– Store with gas/diesel (open Thursday to Monday)
– Potable water available at store and at the shower building 
– Two trailer sewage dump stations 
– Pay phone at Store
– Firewood available at the Store during regular Store hours
– Coin operated showers

– Free wireless high-speed internet hotspot available

Day Use & Boating

– Three boat launches
– Swimming area
– Playgrounds 
– Picnic shelter
– Max. 12 km/h on water


Other

– Great Trout fishing

Carolside Campground

Carolside Campground is open for the 2021 season for unserviced camping. Water amenities are available.

Location: 5 km southeast of Sunnynook on Highway 570
