 Prairie Oasis Park will be opening on a limited basis for the 2020 camping season on May 15. Camping is restricted to self-contained units, and tenting and overnight vehicle camping is not permitted. Sites are restricted to one (1) unit per site, and group camping is not permitted at this time. There will be no reservation system available for the 2020 season for Prairie Oasis Park. All campgrounds and sites will be managed on a first-come, first-serve basis. 


How to Book Reservations

Please note reservations can ONLY be made online.
The reservation system is in place for 31 sites only (sites 1-10, 25-29, 42-50, 80-85 & Camp Kitchen), the remainder of the sites are all first come, first serve.

How to Cancel my Reservation

Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.00 plus GST to cancel. The original $12.00 plus GST reservation fee is non-refundable. A reservation can be cancelled before you check-in to the campground, subject to the following:

Please refer to the individual campground pages for their cancellation policies. Otherwise, the standard cancellation policies apply.

If you cancel your reservation prior to 02:00 p.m. on your day of arrival, you will get a full refund for all the camping fees you paid when you made your reservation. The original $12.00 plus GST reservation service fee will be retained, and in addition, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.00 plus GST for this transaction.

Cancellations made after 02:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before 02:00 p.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original $12.00 plus GST reservation service fee would be retained, and in addition, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.00 plus GST for this transaction.

– Tenting Loop only sites – $25.00/unit/night
– Potable water available at various locations throughout the Park
– Trailer sewage dump station
– Pay phone in the marina area
– Contractor operated Concession (open 7 days a week in July & August)
– Spring Store Hours: Friday-Sunday 11AM-9PM
– Summer Store Hours: 7 days a week 11AM-9PM
– Grill/Food Service Hours: 11:30AM-8:30PM
– Coin operated showers/laundry
– Playground
– 4 horseshoe pits near large group site
– Firewood for sale on weekends for May & June and available 7 days/week for July & August
– Free wifi available through the campground

Group Camping

– Small group sites (2 Units) – $30.00/unit/night ($60.00 minimum site fee)
– Overflow sites with power & water – $30.00/unit/night

Large Group Site (Camp Kitchen)

– Can accomodate 10 or more units (has 5 double power pedestals)
– Flat rate – $300/night
– Kitchen offers shutters & doors, lights, 1 outlet, and 10 picnic tables
– This area can be used as a day use area unless reserved

Day Use & Boating

– Boat launch and Marina (no fuel available)
– Boat docking facilities
– Swimming area
– Playground


– Interpretive signage
– Hiking trails and bird watching area

Blood Indian Park

Blood Indian Park will open on a limited basis on May 15, 2020. Camping is limited to self-contained units only, no tenting or overnight camping in vehicles is permitted. Day use is limited as facilities are mostly closed, including the shower building, spray park, playground, and most outhouses.
