10 Apr Altario Agriculture Academy Tour
Last week our Ag groups had the pleasure of visiting Altario’s Agriculture Academy for a great morning of learning and connection.
We were welcomed and toured by the students, who did an excellent job sharing their experiences and providing a firsthand look at the program. The Academy offers a unique environment where students are gaining practical, hands-on skills while developing a strong understanding of agriculture and its importance to our communities.
We had the opportunity to see their new accommodation cabin, explore their various “grocers,” spend time with the animals, and even get a sneak peek at another commodity they’re working on.
From aspiring farm managers to barn managers, these students are learning what it takes to support and sustain the backbone of our agricultural sector. Their knowledge, confidence, and passion were on full display, and it’s clear they are being set up for success in meaningful, tangible ways.
A huge thank you to the students and staff for such a warm and inspiring visit—the future of agriculture is in great hands.
