PUBLIC SALE OF LAND
(In accordance with Section 421 of the M.G.A.)
Notice is hereby given that under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Alberta Municipal Affairs will offer for sale, by public auction in the Special Areas Office, 319 Main Street, Oyen, Alberta on Thursday, October 1st, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., the following lands:
Each parcel will be offered for sale, subject to the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs, and subject to a reserve bid and to the reservations and conditions contained in the existing certificate of title. Reserving thereout all mines and minerals.
The land is offered for sale on an “as is, where is” basis. The Special Areas Board makes no representations or warranties regarding the condition of the parcel, nor its suitability for any intended use. All risks associated with the property transfer to the purchaser immediately following the auction.
The Special Areas Board may, after the public auction, assume ownership of any parcel not sold at the auction.
Terms: Payment must be made by cash, certified cheque, or bank draft to the Special Areas Board immediately following the auction. GST (if applicable), transfer and registration fees will be added to the purchase price.
Additional terms and conditions will be announced at the auction or may be obtained from the undersigned.
A parcel may be redeemed at any time prior to the auction by payment of all tax arrears and associated costs.
