Special Areas Campgrounds Move to First Come, First Serve Camping for 2020 Season – Special Areas Board

Special Areas Campgrounds Move to First Come, First Serve Camping for 2020 Season

For the 2020 camping season, all Special Areas campgrounds will be operating on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This means there will be no reservation system in effect for all campgrounds for the 2020 season, including Prairie Oasis Park, Blood Indian Reservoir, and Carolside Campground. All sites, including group camp sites (Camp Kitchen Site), will be managed on a first-come, first serve basis.

At this time, we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation. We are following all recommendations from the Chief Medical Officer of Health and public health measures. We will continue to update you on any changes to our operations in the weeks to come, including any updates on municipal parks and campgrounds operations for the 2020 season.
