Effective July 17, 2023, the Minister of Municipal Affairs has approved a tax recovery land sale in the Special Areas. This sale allows eligible cultivation and/or grazing leaseholders to purchase up to four quarters of tax recovery land within their holdings.
The 2023 Tax Recovery Land Sale policy is in effect for three years and will expire on July 16, 2026.
Leaseholders who wish to inquire if they are eligible to purchase land under this sale policy should contact their District Office prior to July 16, 2026, to complete an application.
