16 Jan 2024 Camping Reservations – Prairie Oasis Park
It may still look wintery out there, but we are already getting ready for 2024 camping season in the Special Areas!
Reservations for Prairie Oasis Park open for booking on Friday, March 1 at 9 AM MST. There will be a $12 non-refundable reservation fee for online reservations.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS PRIOR TO THIS TIME.
For the 2024 season, you will only be able to reserve sites at Prairie Oasis Park by going online to www.campspot.com/book/prairieoasispark. Reservations cannot be made at Special Areas offices or over the Parks Information Line.
You will be able to set up your account in advance, including payment information, by going to www.campspot.com. You will not be able to view sites prior the online reservation period opening at 9 am on March 1.
Once reservations open, you will be able to book your stay at www.campspot.com/book/prairieoasispark. You will be able to search available sites based on camping dates, site type, and other amenities. You will also be able to view campsites on the campground map. Remember, you will not be able to book any sites prior to March 1 at 9am MST. Instead, you will get a message which says Sorry, there are no sites available matching your current search.
Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will get a confirmation email. You will also be able to access your reservations under My Account on the Campspot website.
2024 Camping Season Information
There are 50 reservable sites and 51 non-reservable sites at Prairie Oasis Park, including the large group Camp Kitchen Site and the small group sites. These group camping sites can only be reserved online at www.campspot.com/book/prairieoasispark. Non-reservable sites will be managed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
During our shoulder season all sites in the park will be managed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Shoulder season runs from May 1 to 11 and September 6 to October 15.
During our summer season, online reservations can be made for reservable sites at www.campspot.com/book/prairieoasispark. Non reservable sites will continue to be managed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The summer season runs from May 12 to September 5.
Reservation Tips
Booking campsites can be a stressful experience, especially at high-demand campgrounds like Prairie Oasis Park. Here are some simple things you can do to help improve your reservation experience:
- Make sure you have your account set up in advance of reservations opening!
You can set up your account at www.campspot.com, and upload or confirm your payment information, email address and phone number. You will want to make sure your email address is accurate as this is how you will get your reservation confirmations.
- Know what dates you are looking for and have some alternate dates lined up!
Prairie Oasis Park sees a lot of campers, especially during the peak camping season from late June to end of August. The more flexible you can be in your dates and preferred campsite, the easier it will be for you to find a campsite during these peak periods.
- Don’t forget about the reservation fee!
When you make a reservation online at www.campspot.com, there is a non-refundable reservation fee of $12. This fee will not be refunded if you choose to cancel or change your reservation details.
