Update on Road Use Agreements & Agricultural Users

We all have a part to play in keeping our local roads in good shape!

Agricultural Producers are exempt from the Special Areas Road Use Order. This means farmers do not need to get a Road Use Agreement if the hauling activity is agricultural.

Even though you don’t need an RUA, we still want to know if you will be hauling:

  • 6 or more loads (including legal & overweight)
  • Moving to the same location
  • In a 24 hour period

If this is you, reach out to your local Road Foreman! You will need to know your planned route(s), haul dates, and any other important information.

Sharing this information with our Road Services team helps us better plan maintenance work and keep our roads in good shape.
