Each year Special Areas is proud to support local recreation facilities through the allocation of recreation grant funds.
With the hard work of community leaders and volunteers recreation in Special Areas is possible.
For 2024, the Recreation Board Grants will be disbursed to the community clubs and recreation facilities with Special Areas.

The Special Areas Board was proud to support 49 groups in Special Areas, totaling $975,928.01.
Special Area No. 2 Recreation Board members: Matt Clarke, Nicole Skappak, Jane Christianson, Cody Mashon, Darcy Ferguson (SAB) and Brett Richards (SAB).
Special Area No. 3 Recreation Board members: Brett Peterson, Quinn Wagstaff, Kerry Molzan, Darcy Ferguson (SAB) and Darran Dick (SAB).
Special Area No. 4 Recreation Board members: Dan Beier, Carley Day, Paulette Long, Darcy Ferguson (SAB) and Taryl Abt (SAB).
