PUBLIC SALE OF LAND
(In accordance with Section 421 of the M.G.A.)
Notice is hereby given that under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Alberta Municipal Affairs will offer for sale, by public auction in the:
Special Areas Office No. 2, 212 – 2nd Ave. West, Hanna, Alberta on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., the following lands:
Special Areas Office No. 3, 319 Main Street, Oyen, Alberta on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., the following lands:
Special Areas Office No. 4, 4916 – 50th Street, Consort, Alberta on Thursday, October 2rd, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., the following lands:
Each parcel will be offered for sale, subject to the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs, and subject to a reserve bid and to the reservations and conditions contained in the existing certificate of title.
Reserving thereout all mines and minerals.
Terms and conditions of sale will be announced at the sale, or may be obtained from Special Area No. 2 District Office in Hanna, Special Area No. 3 District Office in Oyen or Special Area No. 4 District Office in Consort.
The Special Areas Board may, after the public auction, become the owner of any parcel of land that is not sold at the public auction.
Redemption may be affected by payment of all arrears of taxes and costs at any time prior to the sale.
