Each year Special Areas is proud to support local recreation facilities through the allocation of recreation grant funds.
With the hard work of community leaders and volunteers recreation in Special Areas is possible.
For 2025, the Recreation Board Grants will be disbursed to the community clubs and recreation facilities with Special Areas.

The Special Areas Board was proud to support 51 groups in Special Areas, totaling $1,279,554.24.
Special Area No. 2 Recreation Board members: Hannah Maynard, Nicole Skappak, Jane Christianson, Kindra Mashon, Darren Jones (SAB) and Brett Richards (SAB).
Special Area No. 3 Recreation Board members: Erin Logan, Kerry Molzan, Cory Blair, Darren Jones (SAB) and Darran Dick (SAB).
Special Area No. 4 Recreation Board members: Dan Beier, Jen Hagen, Paulette Long, Darren Jones (SAB) and Taryl Abt (SAB).
